Key Responsibilities: –

1. Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
2. Create responsive and mobile-friendly layouts using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
3. Optimize website performance, SEO best practices, and load speed.
4. Collaborate with designers, SEO teams, and project managers for end-to-end website delivery.
5. Debug and resolve technical issues and perform routine maintenance and updates.
6. Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways.
7. Ensure security best practices and compliance with web standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications: –

1. 5+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
2. Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
3. Strong experience in building custom themes and plugins from scratch.
4. Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
5. Good understanding of SEO, website performance, and security practices.
6. Experience with Git and version control.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Experience with WooCommerce.
9. Basic knowledge of Shopify or other CMS.
10. Familiarity with hosting environments (cPanel, Cloudways, etc.)
11. Prior experience in agency-based or fast-paced environments.
